Opioids are now one of the leading causes of injury-related deaths in Washington State. 75 percent of opioid misuse starts with people using medication that wasn’t prescribed for them—usually taken from a friend or family member, often without their knowledge.
On Saturday, April 30th, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at 4th Street and Peabody, in the parking lot behind the Clallam County building, the Port Angeles Health Youth Coalition in partnership with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office will be providing Port Angeles residents with a combination Lockbag to take home at no cost, while supplies last.
